This Cookie Policy explains how ROKO uses cookies and similar technologies on rokohome.com. It complements our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal information more broadly.
We try to be straightforward: most websites need a few cookies to work, and we use as few as possible. We do not use cookies for advertising or to track you across other websites.

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. Cookies let the site remember things about you — for example, that you've already passed a security check or your progress through a checkout flow — so the site works smoothly.

- Who sets them — first-party cookies are set by rokohome.com directly; third-party cookies are set by services we work with (such as Stripe or Google Analytics)

3. Why we use cookies
We use cookies for three purposes only:
- To make the site work — security and payment processing
- To understand how the site is used — only with your consent (analytics)
- To remember your cookie preferences — so we don't ask you again every visit
We do not use cookies to:
- Track you across other websites
- Build advertising profiles about you
- Sell or share your information with advertising networks
4. Categories of cookies we use
4.1 Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential for rokohome.com to function. Without them, you couldn't log in, complete a purchase, or use the site securely. They do not require your consent under privacy law.
These cookies handle:
- Site security and bot protection (Cloudflare)
- Payment fraud prevention during checkout (Stripe)
When we activate Google Analytics 4, a small first-party cookie will also be placed to remember your cookie consent choice across visits.
4.2 Analytics cookies
These cookies help us understand how visitors use rokohome.com — which pages they visit, how long they stay, where they came from. We use this to improve the site.
We will use Google Analytics 4 for this purpose, configured with privacy-enhancing settings:
- IP anonymization is enabled
- Consent Mode v2 is active — until you accept analytics cookies, Google receives only anonymized signals and does not set cookies
- Data retention is limited to 14 months
- Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals from your browser are honored automatically
Google Analytics 4 is being prepared for activation. Until it goes live, no analytics cookies are placed on rokohome.com. When it goes live, this section will be updated with the exact cookie names and the cookie banner will request your consent.
These cookies require your consent. Once available, you will be able to accept or decline through our cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time from the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer.
4.3 Advertising cookies
ROKO does not currently use advertising cookies. We do not run paid advertising on Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, or Google Ads, and we do not place advertising or retargeting pixels on our site.
If we add advertising in the future, we will update this policy and ensure these cookies remain off by default until you consent.

These cookies are not yet active on rokohome.com. They will be placed only after Google Analytics 4 is activated and only with your consent through the cookie banner.

6. How we manage your consent
When Google Analytics 4 is activated, rokohome.com will display a cookie banner on your first visit. It will let you:
- Accept all — enable analytics cookies and remember your choice
- Decline all — keep only the strictly necessary cookies
- Customize — choose category by category
Until you make a choice, only strictly necessary cookies will be active. Analytics cookies will wait for your consent.
You will be able to change your choice at any time:
- Click the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer of rokohome.com
- Or click the floating preferences icon in the lower-left corner of any page
We honor Global Privacy Control signals automatically. If your browser sends a GPC signal, analytics cookies are disabled without any action from you, regardless of what's in the banner.
Your consent choice will be remembered for 12 months. After that, we'll ask again.
7. How to control cookies in your browser
You can also manage cookies directly in your browser. The exact steps vary, but most browsers let you:
- View the cookies stored on your device
- Delete specific cookies or all cookies
- Block cookies from specific sites
- Block all cookies (this will break most websites, including rokohome.com)
Browser-specific instructions:
If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of rokohome.com may not work. Specifically, security checks may flag your browser as suspicious, and you may not be able to complete a purchase through Stripe.

Some of the cookies above are set by third parties — Cloudflare, Stripe, Google. When this happens, your information is handled both by ROKO and by that third party under their own privacy policies:

9. Changes to this policy
ROKO reserves the right to modify, update, or replace this Cookie Policy at any time, in our sole discretion, to reflect changes in our cookie use, technology, legal requirements, or for any other reason.
When we make changes:
- We update the "Last updated" date at the top
- We post the revised version at rokohome.com/cookie-policy
- For material changes — such as adding a new category of cookies or a new third-party service — we will re-prompt you for consent through the cookie banner
- For non-material changes (such as updating a cookie name or duration), the change becomes effective when posted
Your continued use of rokohome.com after a change becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy, to the extent permitted by law.
